Best Picture Books About Halloween | Halloween Read Alouds
The holiday season has started! I thought I was ahead at getting Halloween costumes and Halloween books… in September. But no. I was not ahead. I am definitely behind. When do ya’ll start getting your Halloween stuff? Amazon’s expected shipping is in November. C’mon… really? Walmart is already out of their blow ups (I really wanted the kitty). The kids’ Halloween cups were almost gone at Target (what is going on?). A couple of the Halloween books I thrifted and only pull out during this holiday, but I was able to snag some other Halloween books to read aloud from our local library. .
The girls love the Berenstain Bears books. Pick a Pumpkin is a cute, sing-song, rhyming book. The pictures are really pretty. The old lady books are always a crack up. How does she fit all that stuff in her mouth? She never gets a stomach ache.
