You can get math manipulatives out the yin-yang. I remember looking at one math curriculum and it came with a large tub of math manipulatives. My eyes were like … 👀. Holy toledo. There were so many. We live in a small home that did not come with a storage closet, linen closet, or pantry situation. I’ve had to get creative with where I can put things. Mind you, there is also a limited amount of space for furniture.

Organizing our homeschool stuff has been a bit tricky. We don’t have tons of space and I don’t have a dedicated homeschool area where we “do school”. I’m an advocate of alternative seating. So sitting where you can work comfortably. Right now I’m on the couch with the computer plopped on top of a pillow. Sometimes I sit at the dining table. Other times I am in my bed with my heat pad where it is warm and cozy. If I like to work in different spots, wouldn’t kids?

The end of the school year is here! Dang. (thoughtful pause) These are the homeschooling supplies we used on repeat throughout the year.

We don’t use a ton of school materials for homeschooling at the moment. I like to keep it quite simple.
