Book Haul: Thrifted Children’s Books

I told Jake, “I won’t be gone that long.” And then I was home four hours later. I stopped at Goodwill to “quickly” look for a few things. And then I found a bunch of goodies so I HAD to go to the other Goodwill and see if they had any treasures too.

I always look through the children’s book section. I am a sucker for vintage kid’s chapter books. I also like to seek out my favorite authors to get them extra cheap before I check our local secondhand bookstore or buy online via betterworldbooks or thriftbooks. What are the chances I’ll find the flower fairy series by Cicely Mary Barker? 🤞🏻

These are the books I did find.

The Missing Piece Meets the Big O by Shel Silverstein: The missing piece is looking for its perfect fit. The missing piece meets the Big O and realizes he doesn’t need anything to complete itself.
