Amazon Haul: End of Year Homeschool Supplies Favorites
The end of the school year is here! Dang. (thoughtful pause)
These are the homeschooling supplies we used on repeat throughout the year. They may be small, but they’re mighty because they made my life so much easier and more fun. 😄
FAVORITE HOMESCHOOL SUPPLIES
1. Bob Books Set 1 and First Stories
These are great beginner reader books because they provide opportunities to practice sounding out letters and reading CVC (consonant-vowel-consonant) words. These books help build young reader’s confidence because children can begin reading their first books with these.
I like these tempera paints because the paint is more thick and the paint has a richer color. Plus they do not have an odor like our other tempera paints we purchased from Michaels.
3. Crayola Twistables Crayons, Fun Effects
The girls found these crayola twistables fun to draw with because some have glitter and others have two colors in one twistable.
4. Sakura Gelly Roll Metallic Gel Pens
These gel pens are so fun! Sometimes Em would use them to answer math problems or draw pictures for her calendar. The ink does need to dry or else it smudges.
5. Tru-Ray White Construction Paper
By far the best construction paper for art projects. I’ve only purchased white for painting projects but will be purchasing more colors for other projects. The paper is a heavier weight and the color is more vibrant—unlike paper at craft stores. The paper at craft stores tends to be lightweight and faded. Tru-Ray is… the true way! 😆
My daughter took a lunch to her enrichment class and it’s been an awesome bento style lunch box. It didn’t leak or get moldy. The tray is easily removable and dishwasher safe. Emme had no problem opening it on her own. The silicone does stain. Ours got enchilada sauce on the top and now the silicone is red.
We traded our janky pencil box for this one and it will be with us until it dies. It holds tons of school supplies.
Dang, I didn’t realize how much I liked these until this year. Put a blank piece of paper inside and it’s a white board. Use it for tracing practice or for reference sheets. You can do whatever you want 🎵
…otherwise known as unifix cubes. Did the name change? Either way, these babies are nice math manipulatives. I like that they can click together to make arrays but that’s down the road. 🤪
Any faves in your homeschool? Do you have any of these? Let me know in the comment section!
