The Boys in the Boat is about nine college boys at the University of Washington overcoming great odds to become the world’s champions in rowing. The story tells the hardships each man faced growing up and how teamwork, perseverance, a strong worth ethic, morals, and putting others above yourself enables one to achieve great success.

Sydney finds out her boyfriend cheated on her with her roommate. She storms out of her apartment and has nowhere to go. Her hot guy neighbor Ridge offers the spare bedroom to her “temporarily”.

Benton James Kessler and Fallon O’Niel meet at a restaurant when they are 18 years old. Though there is an attraction between the two, Fallon is moving to New York City.
